How GetGigz works
GetGigz is a marketplace, not a staffing agency. Veterans publish what they can do. Homeowners and property managers look for a match nearby, or post a gig and ask for help.
If you are a veteran or military spouse
Start with MOS to Trades if you want to see which civilian gigs line up with your MOS, rating or AFSC. Then create a profile, choose the trades you actually offer, and write them in plain language. Listing skills is free.
At launch we plan to verify service (DD-214 or ID.me) and run a background check. Licensed electricians, plumbers and HVAC technicians will be asked to upload a license. Until that is live, treat profile details as user-provided.

If you need work done
Browse veterans in your area and filter by trade, or post a gig that describes the job. You can message veterans who look like a fit. There is no claim here that every trade is already staffed in every city — we are launching market by market, starting with Fort Hood, then Fort Bragg, then Fort Benning.
